What happens when the walls of a home aren’t fixed?
Presented as part of the DesignPhiladelphia Festival, home explores this question through a hands-on textile installation built at the scale of a micro-home. Created by Temple University Tyler School of Art’s Architecture Program, the installation invites visitors to actively reshape the space around them.
Pull, tie, and rearrange draped fabric and suspended objects to continually remake the environment, transforming the boundaries of home with each interaction.
home is a complementary installation to The Architecture of Us, exploring a shared question from a different angle: how might we experience home when its walls can move?
