As part of the Gap Weeks summer program, students of CraftNOW Create can attend the June 30th program at the Center for Architecture and Design to reimagine the swimming pool and surrounding area of the Hancock Park Playground. The program will focus on architecture and the built environment as the medium in which multiple design disciplines are integrated, such as landscape architecture, urban planning, mural and furniture design. Students will have the opportunity to explore new materials while they discover new talents and interests that may create a roadmap to pursue and succeed in higher education and careers
CraftNOW Create, in partnership with Philadelphia’s Department of Parks and Recreation and other organizations throughout the city are coordinating their efforts to ensure in-person craft workshops to all of Parks and Recreation's 120 summer camps accross the city. brings the wonder and imagination of the craft studio into every Philadelphia neighborhood.
Our partner organizations are coordinating their efforts to ensure we can offer an in-person craft workshop at all of Parks and Recreation’s 120 summer camps across the city. This program will deliver approximately 10,000 hours of craft instruction and reach up to 5,000 campers!
