AIA PA's Housing and Community Development Task Force is actively recruiting AIA members and associate members to join the committee. We are especially interested in young designers, women and people of diverse backgrounds to bring their perspective and insight as we advance, inspire, and advocate for our profession's interests in single- and multi-family housing and community development at the state level where we can have the biggest impact to shape policy and funding. The task force meets monthly on the 4th Friday of the month virtually. We have a number of ambitious goals this year - to increase funding for affordable housing, address blight and revitalize commercial corridors as well as to expand and strengthen our contact with elected and government officials and like-minded organizations.
