One of the most exciting parts of the Beaux Arts Ball is deciding who you'll become for the evening.

This year's theme, Be Revolutionary: America Turns 250, celebrates the Semiquincentennial of the United States by inviting guests to reflect on the people that have shaped our country. Your attire is part of that celebration. Come dressed as a revolutionary figure or simply in your best black tie attire. There are no rules, only creativity. Need a little inspiration? Think beyond traditional historical figures.

You could arrive as Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Rosa Parks, Amelia Earhart, Harriet Tubman, Benjamin Franklin, or one of the Kennedys.  Or celebrate innovators and cultural icons like Michael Jordan, Steve Jobs, Katherine Johnson, Dolly Parton, Beyoncé, David Bowie, or Neil Armstrong. You might even embody a movement, an invention, Lady Liberty, or an idea that represents progress and possibility. Whether your inspiration comes from architecture, sports, science, music, politics, fashion, or art, this is your opportunity to celebrate 250 years of America through your own creative lens.

On October 24, Girard College will transform into an immersive celebration of design, performance, extraordinary costumes, and Philadelphia's creative community. We can't wait to see how you interpret the theme.
