DesignPhiladelphia presents the debut of Dear Philly, a new collection by Varvara "Bobby" Diakonenkova, a West Philadelphia-based fashion designer and Drexel University alumna who competed on Project Runway Season 22 at age 23. Russian-born and Philadelphia-rooted, Diakonenkova's aesthetic blends sculptural silhouettes with architectural lines, a natural fit for a design festival exploring how built form and personal expression intersect. The collection is presented by Most Hated Is An Art, the collective Diakonenkova founded.
