SEPTA’s Scott Sauer presents Accelerate, a bold vision to modernize transit, improve regional mobility, and shape Philly's future.

DAG is excited to welcome Scott Sauer, General Manager of SEPTA, for a presentation on Accelerate, SEPTA’s bold new vision for the future of transit in Greater Philadelphia. Announced this fall, Accelerate is a long-range modernization program that outlines major investments in stations, vehicles, accessibility, and service improvements designed to create a safer, more reliable, and more connected transit system for the region.

During his presentation, Scott will share how Accelerate seeks to transform mobility across the region over the next decade, including plans for new trolley and subway fleets, more frequent service, and enhancements that would bring high-quality transit within reach of millions more residents and jobs. The initiative is designed not only to improve the rider experience, but also to strengthen workforce access, economic competitiveness, and quality of life throughout southeastern Pennsylvania.
