The JADE Initiative is a project led by Drexel University student Katie Koji as part of the JADE Fellowship (Justice Alliance for Design Education), a program fostering diversity and inclusion in design. The initiative empowers BIPOC women in Drexel’s Architecture program, offering mentorship, career exploration, and community support. It is mainly geared towards 2nd-year students and upper class, with the goal of creating a more inclusive design culture.
To kick off this initiative, there will be a casual mixer with food and drinks served on Friday March 7, 5:30pm at the Center for DesignPhiladelphia (1218 Arch St). Please come and get to know some students.
