The Next Generation of Medical Technology

You are invited to watch the launch of the newest products to come out of JeffSolves MedTech. Please join us to watch three multidisciplinary teams present their medical design innovations, products of the design and development program, JeffSolves MedTech—a collaboration between Thomas Jefferson University and Bresslergroup. Over the past nine months, 18 medicine and industrial design students from Thomas Jefferson University worked together, conducting in-depth user research and problem identification within Jefferson Health and translating those insights into commercializable innovations via an intensive product development immersion with experts from Thomas Jefferson University, Jefferson Health, and Bresslergroup.

This 5th cohort of the JeffSolves program was challenged to innovate in the midst of a pandemic, conducting remote R&D and collaborating at a distance. Each year, teams usually take residence in the Health Design Lab during the summer design intensive, however this year the students were challenged to develop three human centered solutions, that were physical products, working almost entirely virtually. 

Provost and Dean of Thomas Jefferson University, Mark Tykocinski, MD, will join us to provide a brief overview of the rapid medical device program and startup teams will pitch three new product ventures.
