Featured Designers, Design is Inclusive 2018, curated by the Center / Architecture + Design

EXHIBITION: Design is Inclusive

An exhibition highlighting the varied backgrounds of local designers and what proud Philly neighborhood their work or studio reighns from. Festival attendees and our young audience of future designers are encouraged to preview their medium and their stories.

2018 Designers: Nyasha Felder, Shila Griffith, Chitszano Isaac, Diane Litten, Beranrdo Margulis, Roberto Roque, Jeff Rubio, and Christie Sommers

WINDOW DISPLAY + EXHIBITION: Design Purpose

This year's festival campaign is DESIGN PURPOSE: Purpose Beyond Aesthetics. See the festival's poster series that includes statistics of how design will have to make an impact in our world and its cities. Contribute to the Exhibition Gallery by sharing statistics you know, problems design needs to solve, and design solutions.

INSTALLATION: Common Thread

A crowdsourced installation from the volunteers of DesignPhiladelphia, based on our individual journeys and connection and an homage to the early textile industry in Philadelphia.
